Devon Hedges- Past, Present and Future

Sunday 29th October
A farm walk at Higher Cherubeer, Dolton, EX19 8PP looking at hedges- their management, wildlife and history with Tom Hynes from the Devon Hedge Group and Cressida Witton, Devon County Council Archaeologist. The farm has a good variety of hedges, some very ancient and all with plenty of wildlife interest.  Come along and learn more about one of Devon’s most important habitats.
The walk starts at 2.00 pm and will finish with a cup of tea and cake at 3.30.  There is no charge but a  donation to Devon Wildlife Trust would be appreciated.  For further information contact Tom Hynes on 01805 804265
